Year end comments
While France is seeking an amendment to its Constitution to ban the death penalty, the USA got Saddam Hussein hanged.
If I wanted the ruination of the USA, I couldn’t do a better job than the governing by George W. Bush and the Republicans.
A high powered delegation (Henry Paulson Jr, Ben Bernanke, Susan Schwab, et al.) to China failed its mission, on Wednesday December 27, 2006 the Euro surpassed the circulation of the American dollar and unlike America, Europe is not in hock to China and Japan.
Keep being “Judeo-Christian” and “an eye for an eye” Old Testament while the world becomes more enlightened (the Enlightenment produced the US Constitution but that was then) and secular.
Would more “God bless America” help? Continuing keeping the head in the sand would help.
