A new French Foreign Legion?

From the country that gave the Foreign Legion for the greater glory of France to the world another first: the French Soccer Foreign Legion!

Of course by France the France d'Outre-mer is meant.

With Vieira a Senegalese, Makelele a Congolese, Henry a Caribbean, Trezeguet an Argentinean, the other blacks sons of ex French colonials and Zidane an Algerian from Marseille.

None of which play for French clubs (where are the French soccer clubs anyway?)

Vieira and Thuram play in Italy, Gallas, Henry and Makelele play in England, Zidane in Spain and Sagnol in Germany.
